Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

A new American Heart Association-funded center at the Medical College of Georgia is working to better understand the bidirectional dynamic, including how to intervene when, for example, cancer treatment itself results in heart problems.
For the past decade, Dr. Trinanjan Datta, a professor of physics at Augusta University’s College of Science and Mathematics, has partnered with Dao-Xin Yao, a professor in the school of physics at Sun Yat-sen University in China, to establish an international collaboration for physics research between the two universities.
