After 12 years as an occupational therapist, Erin Wiley was inspired to pursue a new passion. She spent the next six years on a journey to become a nurse anesthetist.
Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.

“It gives you a sense of joy, a sense of pride, just to see the kids smile,” says Kandyce A’see, EdD.

Amalia Brawley, MD, is Augusta University’s first fellow in the Medical College of Georgia and Wellstar MCG Health’s new three-year Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship program.
