
Georgia General Assembly examines artificial intelligence

Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

The annual event was held Sept. 7 on the Summerville Campus.
The book is designed for current instructors of public administration, political science and social science.
With junior Vikash Ayyappan spearheading the charge, Augusta University held its first TEDx event at the Jaguar Student Activites Center.

Eric Toler and several Augusta University alumni and supporters, and members of the Augusta community,” said Brooks A. Keel, PhD, president of Augusta University.
Dawn Langley-Brady, PhD, assistant professor for the Department of Nursing Science, has received a $25,000 grant for her research on essential oils for chronic pain.
“This grant allows us to expand our efforts to educate students about safe alcohol consumption and the risks of driving under the influence,” said Morgan Davis, Student Wellness coordinator.
