Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

Two distinguished award winners at Augusta University understand the power of mentoring.
Carolyn Cannon has been an employee of Augusta University for 25 years. This year, she and her son, Chris, are graduating together. She is fulfilling her dream of completing a Bachelor of Arts in History. He is completing a Master of Public Administration.
The National Science Foundation, Combinatorics Program of the Division of Mathematical Sciences, has awarded funding to Augusta University’s Dr. Guangming Jing for his research proposal, “Density and Edge Coloring.”
