“I was really missing out on my public health degree, and I feel like with writing, research and getting other people’s stories, it gives you an avenue to tackle topics that are relevant to oral health, but also to health care in general,” said Juliann Marmal.
“We had a very audacious goal this year to increase our chapter’s involvement in advocacy,” said Kellie Soafer, chapter president.
“This undergraduate research experience has inspired me to specialize in oncology and dive deeper into understanding cancer,” said Sonia Jose.
IGIVE begins Tuesday, Sept. 10, and extends through Tuesday, Oct. 22.
