Augusta University plans to expand its animation program to include an additional 21 faculty members in the Department of Art and Design, which will make it possible to attract about 400 more animation students in the coming years.

A year ago, Laura Williamson, PhD, teamed up with Cordaryl Middleton, PhD, principal of Lucy Craft Laney High School, to provide mentors to students in ninth and 10th grades. Since the program’s launch, the relationship has grown, with more Augusta University students getting involved.
“Students should know their credit score just as quickly as their GPA and they should protect it vigorously,” said Wendy Habegger, PhD, lecturer Hull College of Business.
Augusta University took part in the annual Tri-College Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration with Augusta Technical College and Paine College on Jan. 12.
