“I told them, ‘We just want you. We want to focus on you and give you all the attention,'” said Mike Patton, Healthy Grandparents Program coordinator.
“We had a very audacious goal this year to increase our chapter’s involvement in advocacy,” said Kellie Soafer, chapter president.
“This new role represents a culmination of my years of service to the ACRL, which has been so instrumental in my personal and professional growth over my career,” said Augusta University Dean of Libraries Brad Warren.
Over the course of the weekend, numerous alumni banquets for the university’s colleges, schools and organizations will be held throughout Augusta
“We are setting an example for our students, and that should be about more than just teaching in the classroom. Students pay attention to if you are truly helping others, so it’s important to set a good example,” said Kim Capehart, DDS.
“The student awards were such an amazing experience. When they finally called our names, it was thrilling, and all our hard work is paying off in a big way,” said Michael Fortino.
