Blake McGee earned a combined award of over $676 K by two prestigious grants to study Medicaid impact. Through his NIH grant, he will be studying Medicaid’s role in late postpartum maternal health. His Betty Irene Moore Fellowship grant will support his study of the Georgia Pathways Program.

“When research is communicated outside of academics and into the community, it feels very meaningful,” says Maleah Winkler, PhD.
