Honey Baked Ham is among those who have donated food to Augusta University Health.

Health care workers continue to work tirelessly treating patients with COVID-19, and businesses in the Augusta area are once again showing their appreciation for the efforts of those at the front lines at Augusta University Health.

This week alone,  the following new donations are scheduled to come in:

  • The red carpet treatment: True North Church of North Augusta will literally roll out the red carpet for A and B entrances to thank AU Health staff from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to greet those coming and going from their shifts.
  • Fat Man’s meals: The Augusta Rotary Club is donating meals from Fat Man’s Café and Catering on Wednesday. Fat Man’s has also been a huge supporter of AU Health since the pandemic began. The Rotary Club will send 100 meals for staff.
  • Lindsey Thames of the “Army of Love” #FightLikeMike organization is donating 500 Chick-fil-A boxed meals for staff on Thursday. The executive team will be distributing these meals to the units.

These are just some of the donations we are anticipating this week and beyond. If you would like to donate to the staff at AU Health, see more here on how to do so.
