Most recently, he recorded The Monk Project, choosing to collaborate with musicians, including Kenny Barron, Kenny Davis, Winard Harper, Wycliffe Gordon, Marcus Strickland and Howard Johnson. The album was released in January 2012 to critical acclaim.
