AU raises nearly $370,000 through annual IGIVE fundraising campaign

Augusta University faculty and staff came together once again this year, contributing more than $369,000 to the IGIVE employee campaign. A record 2,030 donors participated this year, the most since IGIVE became an AU-only campaign in 2023, when it separated from its joint effort with the health system.

IGIVE is a crowdfunding campaign and its strength comes from numbers: when colleagues across campus each give what they can, gifts of every size add up quickly. Whether it supported a student scholarship, a research project or patient care, each contribution helped advance the life-changing, life-saving education that defines Augusta University.

Eighty-six departments reached 100% participation in this year’s campaign, reflecting broad employee support for Augusta University’s students, programs and research. All departments that achieved 100% received a pizza party in recognition of their accomplishment. The university thanks all donors for their gifts.

“Our employees know better than anyone what these gifts make possible, because they see it every day in the classroom, the lab, and the clinic,” said Jeff Snow, executive vice president, Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement. “What stands out to me most about IGIVE isn’t the total. It’s the number of colleagues who chose to be part of it. Giving here is a shared commitment to the students we teach, the discoveries we pursue, and the patients we serve, and I’m proud of what our employees accomplished together.”
