Homecoming Tailgate kicks off Saturday 11:30

Celebrate Homecoming and show off your Jaguar pride by attending Augusta University’s Homecoming Tailgate on Saturday, Feb. 18, at Christenberry Fieldhouse.

The party begins at 11:30 a.m., two hours before the women’s basketball game at 1:30 p.m. At 2 p.m., tailgate attendees will leave en masse to watch the rest of the women’s game and prepare for the 3:30 p.m. start of the men’s game.

Students, faculty and staff can enter for free with a valid JagCard. Additional tickets for any family members or friends can be purchased for $10, which also covers admission price for both the men’s and women’s basketball games.

Alumni is hosting a tailgate for $20 at the Golf House, and the Division of Communications and Marketing and the College of Education are hosting their own tailgates as well. However, it’s impossible to have too many people tailgating, so gather up your department or college and join the fun.

And showing your pride has never been easier – or more affordable: Jaguar merchandise is on sale at the JagStore this entire week, with up to 40 percent off select Nike and Under Armour gear.

Join the party, come to the Homecoming Tailgate and show the community what Jaguar pride truly looks like.
