Free oral, head and neck cancer screenings

WHAT: Free oral, head and neck cancer screenings will be offered to the community.

WHEN & WHERE: 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 21 at the AU Health Medical Office Building, 1447 Harper St., fourth floor, Otolaryngology Clinic, Suite 4109

BACKGROUND: Head and neck cancers are common forms of cancers affecting the oral cavity, throat, thyroid and voice box. Regular check-ups are vital for detecting the early stages of head and neck cancers or contributing conditions. AU Health, along with more than 400 national and international screening sites, joins the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance in urging individuals to get screened for oral, head and neck cancers.
