Emelina Perez awarded Patsy Jane O’Malley Memorial Scholarship

Emelina Perez, a student in the MS-Dietetic Internship Program, was recently awarded the Patsy Jane O’Malley Memorial Scholarship by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation (ANDF) for the 2017-2018 school year.

Every year, the ANDF awards a number of outstanding students in dietetic programs with a $1,000 scholarship to promote potential in the dietetic field.

Perez, a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, is pursuing a career in nutrition and dietetics.

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and the only charity devoted exclusively to promoting nutrition and dietetics. The Foundation funds scholarships and awards, public education programs, and research grants and is the largest provider of nutrition and dietetics scholarships.
