Dr. Bruce LeClair

The Medical Association of Georgia recently presented Dr. Bruce LeClair, associate professor of Family Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia, with the 2018 Physician’s Award for Community Service. The Georgia Academy of Family Physicians nominated LeClair, who has been a volunteer faculty supervisor for the St Vincent de Paul student-run clinic for more than 20 years and is one of the founding faculty members of the Women’s Free Clinic and Equality Clinic. LeClair continues to volunteer at all three clinics, along with other faculty, staff and residents. Previously, he was recognized by the Greater Augusta Healthcare Network and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Society, also for community service.
