Augusta University to celebrate site of new clinic in Columbia County

WHAT: Augusta University President Dr. Brooks Keel, AU Medical Associates CEO Julian Nussbaum, AU Medical Center CEO Lee Ann Liska, Dean of Augusta University Medical School David Hess and other distinguished guests will celebrate Augusta University’s Fury’s Ferry Care Center, the first AU Health clinical site in Columbia County.

WHEN: 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22

WHERE: 587 Fury’s Ferry Rd., Augusta

BACKGROUND: The new 6,450-square-foot primary care and cardiovascular care clinical building is part of an overarching plan to provide ambulatory care in locations more convenient to where patients live and work. By increasing its presence in Columbia County, AU Health will be better prepared to meet the high demand of the area’s rapidly increasing population.
