Augusta University Staff Council hosting staff appreciation events

The Augusta University Staff Council is hosting two “Paws for Staff Appreciation” events in early March:

The events will feature raffle prizes, giveaways and a photo booth. Additionally, the first 100 staff members at each event will receive free lunch from Luna Pizza Co. and Rita’s Italian Ice, including a drink, a slice of pizza and a shaved ice.

“We are so very excited to be offering these two campus events as just a small token of appreciation for AU staff,” said Wade Caldwell, chair of the Augusta University Staff Council.

“We wanted to use this event to better communicate with, represent, recognize and advocate on the behalf of AU staff. We had hopes of offering an appreciation event for the past few years. We were fortunate enough to be funded for this event through the annual Planning and Resource Alignment Hearings process as well as the generous donations though IGIVE.”

This is the council’s first attempt at a large-scale fellowship event.

Email the Staff Council with questions about the event, or view the event email.
