Augusta University hosts former Surgeon General as IPPH Summer Scholars speaker

Dr. David Satcher, former Surgeon General and Director of the CDC under Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, addressed the Institute of Public and Preventive Health (IPPH) Summer Scholars along with faculty from across the Augusta University Campus on Wednesday, July 25.

Satcher presented “Leadership Challenges to Achieve Health Equity” in an open forum and later spoke individually with students involved in the IPPH Summer Scholars Program.
