AU professor assists 2 victims after school bus accident

An accident that occurred early Monday morning, April 23, left two injured after a school bus failed to yield at a stop sign, causing a collision.

Augusta University’s Professor of Military Science and U.S. Army Nurse LTC Danielle Rodondi was the first person to arrive at the scene and assisted with both of the injured victims before handing their care over to the first responders who arrived shortly after the incident.

“I was happy to be where I was and that I was able to help,” said Rodondi. “They’re both ok. That’s all I care about.”
