Antibody testing begins at AU Health site in Columbia County: In photos

Antibody testing was made available to Columbia County employees as part of a study led by Dr. Jose Vazquez, Chief of the Section of Infectious Disease at the Medical College of Georgia.

The testing began early this month at Evans High School, and Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp recently toured the testing site.

If antibodies are found in a person, it means they once had COVID-19 and have since recovered — information that could be used to help others newly infected.
