First Jaguar Miracle Dance Marathon brings in nearly $17,000 for Children’s Hospital of Georgia

Thanks to a new student-run organization called Jaguar Miracle, nearly $17,0000 was raised for Children’s Hospital of Georgia, during the inaugural Dance Marathon on Oct. 28. About 150 students stayed on their feet during the six-hour event through dancing, games and other entertainment in support of the not-for-profit CHOG.

Jaguar Miracle students work with professional staff members of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and CHOG to raise awareness and funds for local sick and injured kids. Jaguar Miracle raises funds all year, creating unique opportunities for students to give and get involved. The year culminates with the Dance Marathon, which will become an annual celebration of Jaguar Miracle fundraising for CHOG.

The first Jaguar Miracle Dance Marathon brought in $16,928.
