Video highlights Pamplin’s commitment to shaping successful students

The professors of Augusta University’s Katherine Reese Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences are dedicated to more than just giving students a great education; they’re also committed to setting their students up for success after graduation.

In this video aimed at promoting Pamplin College to prospective students, majors from a number of fields explain what made their choice of college the best choice possible.

For Amber Harris, a Fall 2016 graduate of the criminal justice program, it was the hands-on experience.

“I really retain information when I have hands-on experience, which is what Augusta University has really afforded me the opportunity to have,” she said. “They will do everything they can to get you connections and to really get you into the community and working.”

For Georgie Latremouille, a recent political science graduate, it was the chance to find her calling.

“I chose political science because it interested me and I get this opportunity to be part of the mock trial team,” she said. “After joining mock trial, I realized that I did want to become a lawyer, and that’s what I want to do.”
