Venue change & additional tickets for Skloot/Lacks event

Due to the popularity of Augusta University’s upcoming event honoring the life of Henrietta Lacks, “A Conversation with Rebecca Skloot and Henrietta Lacks’s Family” at 7 p.m. on February 8 has been moved to the Imperial Theatre.

Previously-reserved tickets will be honored at the new venue. As a result of this venue change, additional tickets for this event will become available at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 25 via Eventbrite. Tickets will not be available at the Imperial Theatre Box Office.

Tickets to this event give you priority seating. Those who arrive to the event prior to 6:45 p.m. may select their seats on a first come, first served basis. Beginning at 6:45 p.m., all remaining seats will be made available to attendees with or without tickets.

A shuttle will operate between AU’s Summerville campus and the Imperial Theatre for those attending the event.
