Thinking about going to graduate school? Come make a game plan for the GRE

Augusta University’s Academic Success Center is hosting a Graduate Record Examination information session at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the Academic Success Center.

GRE Game Plan is geared to help prepare those interested in applying to graduate school. This session will allow attendees to look at the big picture of the GRE and create a plan to make their test results the best they can be.

“The first step in GRE prep is to take a practice test and diagnose which areas you need to review and practice the most,” said academic success coordinator Amanda Gustafson.

“Students can choose to meet with a peer coach to check in on their test prep plan and meet with tutors to get assistance with math and writing,” she added.

The GRE is an important step in the graduate school application process. This exam, along with other requirements, is used by graduate schools and business schools to assess students’ readiness for the rigors of graduate academic study.
