The Graduate School expands professional development opportunities

A graduate education is more than just a degree; it serves as a launchpad for future professional success. By engaging in professional development opportunities while in school, graduate students in The Graduate School at Augusta University gain a valuable advantage that supports their long-term achievements. Whether they aim to balance personal and professional priorities or strengthen their leadership abilities, TGS provides a wide range of resources to help them take the next steps.

Professional development workshops

TGS has launched a professional development speaker series for the fall 2025 semester. The series is designed to help graduate students invest in their growth, connect with colleagues across campus and prepare for future career success.

Speakers will cover a wide range of high-impact topics, including time management, navigating finances, public speaking, emotional intelligence and more. AU graduate students and postdoctoral fellows can view the full calendar and register for upcoming workshops on the TGS Professional Development page. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged.
