Teen celebrates final chemo treatment with family and friends

Austin Parks’ life was interrupted when his doctor and a team at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia diagnosed him with rhabdomyosarcoma, a form of cancer affecting connective tissues in Austin’s body.

Monday, Austin received his final chemotherapy treatment with family and friends waiting to celebrate at the hospital.

Fox 54’s Shaquille Lord talked to Parks and his parents about his cancer, the treatment and the outpouring of support the family has experienced since Austin was diagnosed.
