The Community Health Needs Assessment survey helps the Georgia Cancer Center know how to assist those in the communities it serves.

Survey about community health awareness to be sent to select Augusta University employees

On behalf of the Georgia Cancer Center at Augusta University, Dr. Martha Tingen and her team are asking that you assist them by completing the Community Heath Needs Assessment (CHNA) Survey if you have received an email invitation.

This is a requirement of the Commission on Cancer for our Cancer Center. Also, the information provided is very helpful to Tingen and her team in understanding the needs of the community as it relates to cancer care experiences, prevention efforts they need to address, and ways in which you may seek cancer-related information.

Additionally, the results of the survey are used to identify ways the team can better address community needs and foster better community engagement. Your responses are confidential.

If you have questions about the survey, contact Dr. Martha Tingen by calling (706) 721-0471 or Christine O’Meara by calling (706) 721-8353.
