Did you believe in Santa Claus as a child?

Yes, for a long period of time until my family told me he wasn’t real. I did have my doubts though, at the time.

What is your first Christmas memory?

When I was 4 when I found out what Christmas was really about.

What was the best gift you ever got?

Cellphone. I didn’t have a phone before then and I think all of my friends already had one.

What was the worst gift you ever got?

The Easy-Bake Oven. The food wasn’t all that.

What is one family tradition you will carry on when you start a family?

Everyone sleeping over at my mom’s house and then waking up on Christmas Day together.

When do you start listening to Christmas music: the start of November or a few days before Dec. 25?

Right after Thanksgiving.

What is the one song that makes it feel like the holidays?

[starts singing] “Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.”

What is your go-to holiday movie?

I like Home Alone. That’s one I always watch before Christmas.

What is your favorite part of The 12 Days of Christmas?

[starts singing] “Nine ladies dancing, eight maids a milking …”

What is the one dish you have to have for it to feel like Christmas?

I have to have my grandmother’s chicken dressing.

What is your least favorite holiday side dish?

I hate candied yams.

Do you unwrap gifts, on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

One gift on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas Day.
