Roosevelt Warm Springs Hospital team members receive Golden Mask awards

Roosevelt Warm Springs Hospital staffers like Demetria Thompson, center, have been honored with Golden Masks for their work during the pandemic.

Several staffers at Roosevelt Warm Springs Hospital have been honored with a Golden Mask since the start of the pandemic.

“We award the Golden Mask to a Roosevelt team member who exemplifies outstanding actions regarding our COVID-19 preparedness, and in other areas dealing with COVID,” said David Mork, CEO of Roosevelt Warm Springs. “It is a fun, inexpensive way to recognize outstanding employees.”

Recipients thus far include Kerri Medders, employee health/infection control RN; Lyndel Pettis, director of pharmacy; Tammy Horton, central supply; Teresa Birks, LTAC Hospital; Kalee Plouffe, Rehabilitation Hospital; Demetria Thompson, Rehabilitation Hospital; Josh Jones, physical therapy; and Akenna Ellison, physical therapy.
