Health care providers at Augusta University Health have faced countless challenges over the past year. AU Health’s pastoral care and patient experience teams are here to listen to those who have been working tirelessly to fight COVID-19.

“Caregivers During COVID” listening sessions will take place over the next two weeks in the Lee Auditorium on the Health Sciences Campus. These events will focus on wellness during the pandemic, offering a space where staff can safely and openly share concerns and stories that have adversely impacted them.

“We are hearing from staff the need to share stories, to express their stress and source of trauma,” said Regina Winters of the Center for Patients and Families. “These sessions will provide a safe space for sharing and we hope to provide a more broad feeling of connectedness in these difficult days.”

Lunch will be provided at the conclusion of the event. These events are not recorded and will be confidential. Due to physical distance requirements/attendance limits, registration is required. All events take place in BC 1040 in the Lee Auditorium.
