Pamplin College dean appears on nationally prominent crime podcast

Kim Davies, PhD, dean of Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, recently appears as guest host of the nationally recognized True Crime Daily: The Podcast.

Davies, a criminologist, appeared on the podcast with host Ana Garcia to talk about a pair of cases that have received national publicity. One case involves a neonatal nurse accused of killing seven newborns and the other involves a Colorado woman who allegedly invited a Tinder date to her house and then cut, choked and threatened to kill him.

Davies’s academic focus is on homicide and violence, and she has published a number of papers on the topic, including two books.

True Crime Daily has nearly 5 million subscribers on YouTube.
