NICU reports no errors since implementing milk management solution

Thanks to the implementation of Cerner’s Human Milk and Formula Management solution, The Children’s Hospital of Georgia (CHOG) at Augusta University has successfully reached 100 percent accuracy in the management of mother’s milk since December 2015.

Cerner’s technology has helped to make sure babies in CHOG’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) are getting the best nourishment and care possible. Ruth Wilson, nurse manager at CHOG, spoke about Cerner’s solution saying, “The NICU is able to confirm that the right baby gets the right breast milk at the right time, every time.”
