In Photos: U.S. Senate Designate Kelly Loeffler visits Augusta University

On Monday, Dec. 23, 2019, Augusta University President Dr. Brooks A. Keel and his leadership team welcomed U.S. Senate Designate Kelly Loeffler to learn more about the work happening inside the Children’s Hospital of Georgia and the Georgia Cancer Center.

Loeffler will continue the term of U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson. Isakson announced his retirement earlier this year. His final day in office will be Dec. 31, 2019.

During her visit, Loeffler also helped hand out blankets and holiday greeting cards to patients currently receiving in-patient treatment.
