In Photos: Governor, U.S. surgeon general visit Augusta University to promote mask wearing

Gov. Brian Kemp, U.S. Surgeon General Jerome M. Adams and Georgia Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Kathleen Toomey brought their “Wear a Mask” Flyaround Tour of Georgia to the Augusta University campus for a press conference July 2 at the Georgia Cancer Center.

The tour encouraged Georgians to follow the guidance of public health officials to stop the spread of COVID-19 ahead of the Fourth of July weekend. Other stops on the tour included Columbus, Albany, Valdosta, Dalton and Brunswick.
