Getting women talking about PCOS with their family doctor

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome may not be something you hear much about, but doctors at the Georgia Cancer Center and Augusta University Medical Center say they are seeing an increased number of women with the condition.

Dr. Bunja Rungruang, assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Georgia Cancer Center, along with Dr. Larisa Gavrilova-Jordan, director of the Fertility Preservation Program at AU Health talked with News Channel 6’s Renetta DuBose about why a woman’s period can be the key to whether it’s time to talk to their family doctor about PCOS.
