“Being recognized with the Customer Experience Award means that we continue to ensure that our residents and families are satisfied and receiving the best care available,” said Carlton Deese, executive director of Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home. “This recognition is validation of the hard work and commitment of our staff to provide the best care possible to our resident and their families.”

Throughout 2024, Activated Insights engaged Georgia War residents and their family members in monthly telephone interviews. These conversations included open-ended questions and ratings across various categories.

Deese said the staff is the cornerstone for achieving this type of recognition year after year, noting they are mission critical for the continued success of the organization, and they understand the level of commitment that it takes to keep its residents and families satisfied at a high level.

“This is a rewarding field of health care, and we believe that our nation’s heroes deserve the best care and service that we can provide. It’s truly an honor to be able to serve these men and women who have served this great nation.”
