Free Financial Wellness series being offered to employees

Human Resources is kicking off a new benefit for both university and health system employees called Financial Wellness. These free financial education classes fall under three main categories: financial well-being, retirement planning and investing, and home/auto ownership.

No pre-registration is required. Class dates, times and locations can be found in Workforce Learn Online and the Calendar of Events web page. Below is a list of all topics being offered.

Financial Well-Being topics include:

  • Credit Sore
  • Identity Theft Protection
  • Basic Estate Planning
  • Investment Planning
  • Financial Strategies for Millennials
  • Student Loan Debt
  • Cash Management
  • Protections Against Catastrophic Loss
  • Insurance Planning Basics
Retirement Planning and Investment topics include:
  • Retirement Planning
  • Retirement Planning at Work
  • Retirement Strategies for Women
  • Social Security Planning
Home/Auto Ownership topics are:
  • Car Buying
  • Preparing for Home Ownership
  • Home Equity and Refinancing
