Fourth annual Cyber Georgia @ Augusta University a success

The fourth annual Cyber Georgia @ Augusta University brought the nation’s top cybersecurity experts to the area.

This year’s program examined global cyber threats and discussed how to better prepare for cyberattacks in the hospital and public health arena.

Lt. Gen. Paul M. Nakasone, the commanding general of the U.S. Army Cyber Command, delivered the keynote this year. Former U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss served as the honorary host. Chambliss previously served as vice chair of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

Hosted by Augusta University and the Georgia Chamber, Cyber Georgia @ Augusta University fosters collaboration among industry, academia and government to strengthen the nation’s cybersecurity.
