Fall 2020 grad celebrates with chalk art

One of Augusta University’s 2020 graduates is sending appreciation for his AU family via artwork from afar.

Kit Jester, who is receiving a Bachelor of Science in Psychology this fall, is living near the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, as a patient and now also a part of the community. Earlier this year, he became known in his neighborhood for colorful sidewalk chalk messages of encouragement for health care workers.

Now, he’s celebrating Augusta University’s commencement with a large sidewalk chalk masterpiece that includes AU’s values and more than 1,100 hearts to represent good wishes and his fellow graduates. See photos in the slideshow below.
