Employee Engagement Survey for health system and selected shared services underway

The following email was distributed to all health system and selected shared services employees.

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of GRHealth and the entire leadership team, you are cordially invited to participate in the 2015 Employee Engagement Survey.

If you participated in our 2013 and/or 2014 surveys, we greatly appreciate your feedback. From those responses, we established a baseline from which to measure progress, and from 2013 to 2014, we saw improvement in every area.

Based on your feedback, we created organizational action plans and made concrete improvements, including increasing staffing to improve patient care, launching Jagwire to improve communications throughout the health system and university, restructuring care facilitation, initiating annual employee awards and more. We hope these improvements have made a difference in your workday. This year’s survey will help us find out and guide us to further actions.

We ask participation from all employees with a hire date on or before Sept. 9, 2015, employed by Georgia Regents Medical Center, Georgia Regents Medical Associates, Roosevelt Warm Springs Hospital and staff who work in Advancement, Compliance, Division of Communications and Marketing, Facilities, Human Resources and Supply Chain.

To take the online survey, visit: http://go.gru.edu/2015eesurvey.

The password is your last name and the last five digits of your social security number; the first letter of your last name is capitalized (Smith12345). For hyphenated last names, the first letter of both last names is capitalized with no spaces or hyphens (SmithClark12345).

Our goal is a 90 percent participation rate, and to help meet that goal, we’re giving away daily prizes. Press Ganey will manage random drawings for prizes that include Visa gift cards, one-week reserved parking spaces in the deck, movie tickets, umbrellas, stadium blankets, Terrace Dining vouchers and Wellness Center memberships. Departments that reach 100 percent participation by Nov. 25 will receive a Firehouse Subs $10 gift card for each employee. A customized ink pen will be awarded to each employee for departments that reach the 90 percent participation goal by Dec. 4.

The survey is completely confidential and will take only a few minutes to complete. Please be assured your identity and responses will not be shared with anyone from the health system or university. Survey information is available on Jagwire and in flyers/posters displayed throughout our campus. For additional information, please contact your manager or one of our designated Survey Champions.

Thank you in advance for your participation in this important initiative. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, as employee engagement is a key priority for our organization.

Best Regards,

Steven Scott, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Georgia Regents Medical Center

Amanda Hopkins Tirrell, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
