The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration set for Jan. 18Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration took place Friday, Jan. 18. Hosted by Augusta University, Paine College and Augusta Technical College, the event celebrated the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The keynote speaker was Monti Washington, nationally recognized actor, motivational speaker and author. His interactive speech helped audience members to view their challenges as opportunities for success.
