Department of Neurology chair appointed to GARD council

Governor Nathan Deal recently appointed John Morgan, interim chair for the Department of Neurology, to the Georgia Alzheimer’s & Related Dementias (GARD) State Plan Advisory Council.

Morgan is also the director of the Memory Assessment Clinic with Georgia Memory Net and Georgia Alzheimer’s Project.

The GARD council was created to bring awareness to early detection, battle stigma and misinformation and provide support to families.
