Deadline approaching for writing retreat

The registration deadline for the Office of Faculty Development and Teaching Excellence‘s four-day Writing Retreat is fast approaching. Any faculty member wishing to apply for the retreat must do so by Jan. 30, 2017, at 5 p.m.

Organized by the Office of Faculty Development and Teaching Excellence, the retreat to Unicoi State Park in Helen, Georgia, lasts from March 9–12. According to organizers, the retreat will “foster a productive, collegial atmosphere of scholarship and research.”

Faculty members will have an opportunity to work on scholarly projects that need attention and are expected to make significant progress.

Chosen participants must make a $100 deposit for meals and lodging. Limited space is available, so those wishing to participate must turn in completed applications as a PDF document to Aisling Reigle at areigle@augusta.edu.
