Clinical trial and exercise give lung cancer patient new life

Patti Callan was determined not to let stage 3 lung cancer keep her from making the most of her life. She worked with Dr. Zhonglin Hao at the Georgia Cancer Center to find a clinical trial program offering her hope and a helping hand.

Patti and Dr. Hao talked with News Channel 6’s Derrikia Young about the decision to pursue the clinical trial, as well as why exercise played a key role in Patti’s recovery.
