Children’s Hospital facility dogs celebrate birthdays with a parade

Thursday, July 30, was a special day at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia. The facility dogs, Nugget and Casey, both celebrated their birthdays. Nugget was turning 5 and Casey was turning 3.

The Children’s staff held a parade in two of the units of the hospital, visiting some of the patients who had made gifts for the dogs. The dogs were accompanied by handlers Harleigh Smith and Macie Meeks.
