Chet Baker film to screen tonight

Chet Baker film to screen tonight.

The Cinema Series at Augusta University brings the harrowing story of jazz legend Chet Baker to the Maxwell Theatre’s big screen at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 14.

Starring Ethan Hawke in what some critics are calling the performance of his career, Born to Be Blue has received solid reviews and is being hailed as a fresh take on the traditional biopic.

Free admission to the Cinema Series for students, faculty, staff and the general public is made possible by Student Life and Engagement and the generous support of the Westobou Festival.
