"People in this community revere the school, and it’s just a great example of if you ask, then people will help,” says Becky McKenzie.

Jodi Collins is responsible for the operational and administrative support activities of the Augusta University Foundation and the Augusta University Real Estate Foundation.

Since the program began, it has received more than $125,000 in individual and group donations to the HGP university foundation account.
“Victor’s memory lives on as these students honor his legacy, building paths that lead to their own success," says Alexander Schwarzmann, PhD.

"Providing students with a financial scholarship to graduate debt-free creates access for first-generation college students,” said Susan Davies, PhD.

IGIVE begins Tuesday, Sept. 10, and extends through Tuesday, Oct. 22.
The new stadium will feature 420 seats, including more than half with comfortable chairbacks.
“We want to create intentional support systems, so students feel engaged and like they are part of a community,” said Judi Wilson, PhD, dean of COEHD.
“This could positively impact care for children with brain tumors by improving their quality of life,” said Theodore Johnson, MD, PhD.
“We need nurses, and there are people who need help to get there,” said Ollie Creasy.
In becoming so closely connected to Paulette Harris, PhD, Steve Ruby couldn’t help but get immersed in the Augusta University Literacy Center.
“As a working college student, I understood the economic struggles during my day and I am acutely aware that students today have the same, or even greater, challenges.”
The Immunology Center of Georgia has established the Margaret-Gertraud Immunology Lectureship to honor the co-directors' late mothers.
"I hope to honor this scholarship, so it doesn’t end with me but leaves a ripple effect going forward for future students.”
