Breastfeeding suite unveiled at Children’s Hospital of Georgia: In photos

Children’s Hospital of Georgia held an official opening of its new breastfeeding suites on Friday, Nov. 6, near the F entrance of the hospital.

This is one of multiple freestanding lactation pods, provided by the company Mamava, which new mothers can use to conveniently, privately and safely breastfeed or pump for their baby.

The Mamava app allows mothers to enter the suite using a keypad and PIN number provided by the app. Augusta University Health can provide keys as well.

The other pods are located at the AU Medical Center and Medical Office Building.
