Augusta University to host Gala Concert

The rising talent of Augusta University’s Department of Music will take center stage during the institution’s annual Gala Concert. The program is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, in the Maxwell Theatre on the Summerville Campus.

The program will feature performances by the Augusta University orchestra as well as the university’s choral, wind, and American Opera and Musical Theater Institute ensembles.

Tickets for the concert are free for students with a valid ID, and $15 for faculty, staff and the general public. All proceeds from the event will go toward music scholarships at Augusta University.
