Augusta University honored in Cyber City’s Best competition

The Augusta Chronicle recently named the Cyber City’s Best for 2022 and Augusta University was a finalist in several categories, winning three top spots.

As voted by the readers, Augusta University was named top college or university, AU Health was named top hospital or medical center and AU Dental Associates was named best dental clinic.

“It’s always an honor to be recognized by our community as we fulfill our mission to provide excellent health care and educational opportunities for Augusta and beyond,” said Augusta University President Brooks A. Keel, PhD. “I’m grateful to the readers who voted and for our health system and university employees, whose dedication keeps our campus and community thriving.”

“We are pleased and deeply grateful that the readers of The Augusta Chronicle voted AU Dental Associates as best dental practice,” said Dr. Carol Lefebvre, dean of the Dental College of Georgia, which houses AU Dental Associates.

“This endorsement reflects readers’ trust and appreciation of our expertise, technology and practice methods. It takes all of us to create a great dental practice that serves our community with excellence, and we’re thrilled with readers’ confidence.”

Augusta University was also a finalist in several other categories:

  • Best Place to Work – Augusta University
  • Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic – AU Pediatric Otolaryngology
  • General Practice Clinic – AU Health Imaging
  • Hospital Emergency Room – Children’s Hospital of Georgia
  • Hospital Medical Center – Children’s Hospital of Georgia
